Transcript
Hi, it's Kirsten from WTI. Just about to make myself a cup of coffee and I wanted to show you the Bodum Chambord French Press. So this is how I make my coffee every day. If you've never made French Press coffee before, it's really important to keep in mind that you need to have your coffee beans ground to the appropriate texture for a French Press. So a little more coarse than normal. So if you don't have your own coffee grinder, definitely make sure wherever you buy your beans you tell them that you want French Press beans. So what I do is I just put big grinds into the French Press. They say about two tablespoons per every eight ounces of coffee but everyone likes their coffee a little bit different. Some like it a little bit stronger, others a little bit weaker. So what you do is just put in the boiling water. My water just stopped boiling and you just want to pour in really gently. I like to just pour a little bit in and just wait a little bit. You see the grinds should be blooming and then pour all the way up until the rim right here. You don't want to pour any higher than that. So some people at this point like to stir. I don't like to stir. I simply like to put the lid back on. One end of the lid has slots where the coffee can come out. The other side doesn't. So I just like to put my lid on just like so and wait for four minutes. Okay, four minutes has finally passed. So you can let me push down and the coffee is going to be separated between the grinds and the coffee. And a great feature about the Bodum French Press is that the metal mesh insert is so fine. So you're never going to have any sediment, any grinds in your coffee. And now you can simply pour and enjoy. I hope you love your Bodum French Press as much as we love ours. And that's my point of view.
