But this book, How Not to Kill Your Houseplants, has been a total game changer for me in helping my plants thrive and stay alive. What's really great about this book is that in the beginning, in the table of contents, it shows all the plants' names and a picture. Because if you're like me, you might pick up a plant at the store because you simply think it's beautiful, but you have no idea what it's called. No idea how to take care of it. And this book shows you the picture, the name, tells you what page to go to, and on each page it gives you specific instructions, like how often to water it, what happens if the leaves start to turn brown, things like that. There's also instructions on this book on how to pot a plant, how to buy a plant, how to feed a plant. So much good and practical information that for the horticulturally challenged, like myself, has made such a big difference. So if you love plants and you love green in your home like me and you want to stop killing it, also like me, pick up this book. It will save your life and your plants. That's my point of view.
